Binswanger Appoints Ken Anthony Head of Its New Board of Experts

Mr. Anthony brings over 40 years of experience to the firm leading advanced technology and advanced manufacturing projects globally

PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 6, 2025 – Binswanger, an innovator in commercial real estate since 1931, today announced the appointment of Ken Anthony as Managing Director of its newly created Board of Experts, an integrated technical advisory and consulting practice. The Board is currently comprised of eight Subject Matter Experts, many with engineering pedigrees from a variety of key sectors, including life sciences, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor/microelectronics, data center/mission critical, food/beverage, and chemical/process systems.

Before joining Binswanger, Mr. Anthony led advanced technology and manufacturing projects for several global engineering and construction firms, including CH2M Hill, M+W Group, Day& Zimmerman, Haskell, and Wood Group Mustang. He has consulted firms such as Intel, Merck, DuPont, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, BMW, and P&G on projects ranging from site selection, greenfield buy/build strategies, renovation considerations, and estimates to entire manufacturing programs. He is a noted expert in adaptive reuse for advanced technology manufacturing facilities and has also worked extensively in successful renewable energy programs including solar, wind, nuclear, and fuel cells. In this new role, Mr. Anthony will be responsible for leading the Board’s activities and recruiting new members.

Mr. Anthony expressed his enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “It’s an honor to be asked by our CEO to lead this group of industry leaders, across a wide spectrum of industrial vertical markets. Mr. Anthony’s early career included work with Lockheed Martin as a Space Shuttle Systems Engineer, where he worked 42 successful launch missions and was a member of the “Return to Flight” team after the Challenger accident grounded the fleet. In addition to serving on the Board of Technical Advisors for the School of Continuing Education at Clemson University, he is an adjunct faculty member at Oregon Health Sciences University, Texas A&M, and the University of Toronto. Mr. Anthony is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ but currently resides in Savannah, GA. He is a licensed broker in Georgia and Florida.
