Binswanger Represents Wise Foods in the Site Selection & Lease Negotiations for its New Distribution Center in Northeastern Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA, PA – November 27, 2023 – Binswanger, an innovator in commercial real estate since 1931, announced today that after a nearly year-long site search, it has secured a five-year lease on behalf of Wise Foods, Inc. for a recently completed, Class A distribution center in Hanover Township, PA.

Located directly off Exit 164 of I-81 at 111 Tradeport Road, the 250,283-square-foot facility offers immediate access to PA Route 29 and I-476. This was a key selling point for the salty snack maker which currently serves customers in 21 states along the East Coast. It was crucial that Wise’s new distribution center not only be close to its corporate headquarters in Berwick, PA, but also offer easy access to major logistic arteries.

The Tradeport 164 logistics center became an instant front-runner. Aside from its convenient location, with both rear-loading and cross-docked options, the park offers the flexibility of multiple building configurations and space sizes. Meanwhile, the new facility (Building 4) boasts state-of-the-art features such as LED light fixtures with motion sensors and 45,000-pound dock levelers along with ample parking, 50’ x 52’ column spacing, and 25 dock-high doors.
